Like it or not, he was our Barry Bonds (yeah yeah, quit snickering), our Albert Puljos, our Prince Fielder.  Then he got beaned in the head and got afraid of the plate.  His departure could've been better, but I was happy when he left - not because he was a bad guy, but because he was on the decline and no longer useful to the team.
